"Selgaia" is a high-performance pulp developed using Rengo's unique technology that artificially crystallizes the mineral zeolite, which also exists in nature, within cellulose fibers (pulp). This pulp is used in paper, non-woven fabrics, and twisted yarns. Because zeolite is crystallized within the fibers, the zeolite content is high, and issues such as the detachment of zeolite are minimized. Additionally, by loading metal ions onto the zeolite, it can quickly and effectively deodorize unpleasant odors such as amines, fatty acids, and sulfur compounds, while also providing high antibacterial and antiviral effects.
